About Me
I'm not your "average" Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP). Prior to Nutritional Therapy, I was an Engineering Consultant in a demanding, high-stress corporate environment. After graduating from Oxford University with a Master in Engineering, I specialised further and earned my Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering.
Claire Fowler Certified NTP
After my recovery, I became a certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) with the Nutritional Therapy Association in 2023, to bridge the gap between my lived experience and true foundational wellness. My NTA certificate number is 7549; it was issued on 31/03/2023.
Newly diagnosed with uterine fibroids?
If you've ever felt lost, scared, and overwhelmed by conflicting advice about fibroids or myomectomy recovery, I get it! I've been exactly where you are. My name is Claire Fowler, and after successfully navigating a multiple myomectomy to remove uterine fibroids the size of a six-month pregnancy, I realized two things:
- The standard approach leaves huge gaps in pre-surgery preparation and post-op recovery.
- There is a massive need for a systematic, data-driven strategy to optimize healing.
From Oxford University Engineering to Nutritional Therapy
My professional life as an Engineering consultant, was built on:
- systematic analysis,
- problem-solving, and
- optimizing complex systems.
When I was faced with the shock diagnosis of uterine fibroids and impending surgery, I applied that same rigorous, no-nonsense methodology to my preparation. I gathered as much information as I could get access to, from books and blogs.
I tried out many different diets until I was able to develop an eating style that allowed me to have steady energy, a clear mind and optimised iron-levels, which was no small feat. I prioritised resistance training in the lead-up to surgery, with the intent of going in feeling as physically strong and as mentally resilient as possible. I had a fantastic Personal Trainer, who created a tailored program taking my MRI results into account. We focused on functional training to ease my recovery.
The result? I recovered like a pro.
I believe women deserve a clear roadmap for healing beyond surgery.
That's why I created The Myomectomy Prep Strategy. It's the guide that combines Nutritional Therapy scientific principles, my personal recovery process, and my lived experience working with female clients, who have uterine fibroids, to give you a reliable, stress-free strategy for myomectomy preparation and recovery.
My mission is to give you The Myomectomy Prep that I developed.
Stop wasting time and energy guessing what your body needs.
